By the time that the 2012 World Summit rolled around, 3000 students were in attendance. Now, the numbers are exciting, but they only show us the tip of the iceberg of what God is doing among our campus men and women. In this episode we share good news from campuses around the world.

Mike Taliaferro: I’m Mike Taliaferro for ICOC HotNews. Nine years ago, the ICOC revived our annual International Campus Ministry Conference. Roughly 300 students came to San Antonio in 2005. By the time that the 2012 World Summit rolled around 3000 students were in attendance. Now, the numbers are exciting, but they only show us the tip of the iceberg of what God is doing among our campus men and women. And in this episode, the last of three HotNews Spotlight episodes, we share good news from campuses around the world.
Kevin Miller: I want to send you greetings from the Boston church and from the New England family of churches. In 2005 and in 2006 there were probably 60 or 70 campus students in all of New England, around 12 churches. Since that time we have seen God take that group of 70 or 80 to about 189 in Boston and nearly 300 in New England. We have also gone from 4 campus ministers to nearly 30 campus ministers in the New England churches. One of these guys is Anselm Beach. Anselm graduated from Harvard and became the campus minister of one of the suburban ministries. He has seen that ministry go from essentially zero to over 30 Christians. So we are very excited about campus ministry in Boston and in New England. To God be the glory.
John Porter: Hi, I want to share some great news about the campuses in Brazil. In the last couple of years the campus ministries in Brazil have grown from 10 to 62. We decided to bring up students from Brazil to Miami for a month-long training program. We studied apologetics for the whole month. They also hosted a campus conference for all of Brazil. Douglas Jacoby came down. 120 students from all over Brazil met in Rio. We are glad to see what God is doing.
Steven Stevenson: Hello, my name is Steve Stevenson and along with my wife Shonda we oversee the New York City church of Christ campus ministry. We are excited about what God is doing. We set a goal for the campus ministry that we would share our faith with 10,000 people in one day at the beginning of school. So with roughly 220 disciples we were able to share with over 12,000 in one day. To God be the glory.
Chris Ogbonnaya: We bring you great news from West Africa. It’s been awesome what God is doing. Right now we have over 120 students across our Nigerian churches. These 120 students came together to have a campus conference. They had over 250 students from eight countries in West Africa.
Maurice Hooks: Greeting from the Heartland churches in the United States. We are encouraged to inform you of what’s going on in the Heartland. Saint Louis is hosting the 2014 Campus Conference. We look forward to seeing what God is going to do with the campus students as well.
