The 2010 Church Builders Workshop is fast approaching! From April 19 to 21, church leaders and workers from around the world will gather in Providence, Rhode Island for a powerful time of teaching and training about building up the Church. This year’s workshop, entitled “Each Part Does Its Work,” will focus on the unique and indispensable ways in which evangelists, elders, teachers, and other leaders are called to serve in God’s Kingdom.
We are all given unique gifts, and yet are often hard-pressed to use our gifts in a manner that fosters unity among the different branches of the Church’s leadership. Simply put, we can have a difficult time working together! Hardly anything is more important than creating a team of evangelists, elders, teachers, and other leaders who understand and respect each other’s roles.
This year’s workshop will feature several leaders in our fellowship who have excelled in meeting this challenge. Leaders such as Sam Powell, Wyndham and Jeanie Shaw, Doug Lambert, Fred Faller, Walter Evans, and Doug Arthur will teach classes ranging from focused presentations on elder and evangelist roles to workshops for teachers, women’s ministry, and church boards.The classes and fellowship are sure to refresh and encourage you in your faith, boldness, wisdom, and humility.
This conference is not just for church leaders, but for anyone who is interested in learning more about being a life-giving part of the Body of Christ. And there is still time to sign up! We look forward to growing together as God enables us to become all that he calls us to be.
