We are currently looking for a married couple with a heart for the Youth and Families Ministry. Currently we are able to hire only the husband with faith and intention to hire the wife as soon as possible.
Who we are:
The Champaign church of Christ was planted 27 years ago by a team led by Roger and Marcia Lamb and is currently in a rebuilding stage. In the past two years the church has gone from no ministry staff to adding a Lead Evangelist and Women’s Ministry Leader, a Campus Ministry Couple and now we are seeking to add staff to help build a budding teen ministry of 18 teens.
The church has 182 Members with 18 High School teens, 30 campus students, a growing singles ministry and a vibrant adult & families ministry. The cities of Champaign/Urbana have a population of 150,000 and host the great University of Illinois with it’s 50,000 students. We also have a local community college with a student body of about 10,000. The majority of our teens stay right here in Champaign for their college education which creates a unique and exciting dynamic between our teen and campus ministries.
