Steve May Returns to be with the Lord

Our dear brother Steve May passed away July 6, 2010 at approximately 2:00 a.m. from pancreatic cancer. Kelly, Steve’s wife of nearly 20 years, was by his side when he peacefully went to be with our Lord.

Steve was a faithful disciple for 26 years, a loving father of 3 children Jake (17), Jessica (14) and Jazmine (8). Jake is a faithful disciple and Steve was able to help baptize Jessica just three weeks ago. Steve was one of a kind. He was an evangelist who served in the full-time ministry in San Diego, Phoenix, and Los Angeles (Inland Empire). He was in training to be appointed to serve as an elder prior to his passing.

There will be a memorial service to celebrate his life on Saturday July 17, 2010 at 10:00 am in Rancho Mirage, California. The service will be held at the Westin Mission Hills Resort located at 71333 Dinah Shore Drive, Rancho Mirage CA. There will be a light lunch reception following the service at the Westin beginning at 12:00 pm. Directions to the reception will be provided at the memorial service. Please come and join us as we remember his life and celebrate his memory.

A college fund for the children is being established in lieu of flower gifts.

Go east on Interstate 10 through the Palm Springs area. Exit and turn right on Ramon Road/Bob Hope Drive. Turn left on Bob Hope Drive. Follow to Dinah Shore Drive and turn right. The Westin Mission Hills is one mile down on the left hand side.

*FROM PALM SPRINGS AIRPORT (Approx drive time is 15 min):
Exit the airport east on Ramon Road. Proceed past Date Palm Drive. Turn right on Duvall Road. Follow to Dinah Shore Drive and turn left. The Westin Mission Hills is one mile down on the right hand side just before Bob Hope Drive. The golf shop is behind the main lobby.

*FROM LOS ANGELES/ORANGE COUNTY (Approx drive time is 2 hr 15 min):
Go east on Interstate 10 through the Palm Springs area. Exit and turn right on Ramon Road/Bob Hope Drive. Turn left on Bob Hope Drive. Follow to Dinah Shore Drive and turn right. The Westin Mission Hills is one mile down on the left hand side.
The golf shop is behind the main lobby.

*FROM SAN DIEGO (Approx drive time is 2 hr 30 min):
Take Highway 74 over the mountains to Palm Desert. Highway 74 will turn into Monterey Avenue. Proceed until you come to Dinah Shore Drive, turn left. Follow Dinah Shore Drive 2 miles to the entrance to The Westin Mission Hills Resort.

*FROM ARIZONA (Approx drive time is 4 hr):
Go west on Interstate 10 through Indio and Palm Desert. Exit on Ramon Road. Turn left on Bob Hope Drive. Follow to Dinah Shore Drive and turn right. The Westin Mission Hills is one mile down on the left hand side. The golf shop is behind the main lobby.
