P R A I S E
Bucharest, Romania
Praise God for attracting one more soul to our group of elderly/mature disciples of Christ. She came because she saw the love and unity in the group and now wants to know The Father and follow His Son.
Please keep reminding the Romanian disciples of Christ in your prayers to continue daily in praising our heavenly Father and in being ONE as His Family here on earth. By this to reach other Romanians as soon as possible.
Thank you very much for your heart and mind. Hope you’ll feel the love and eternal connection we have for you!
In Unity with Love, Erika and Cristian Paduraru, representing the Romanian disciples of Christ.

Our second request is prayers for our building project that have come to a standstill. May God provide like he always does.

TEENS/CAMPUS

Teens in India
August 15 is Independence Day in India. We celebrate the birth of a free country. On that day Mamta celebrated her newfound freedom in Christ, surrounded by the teen ministry who had fought hard for her.
her family stopped her from attending school, thereby abruptly ending her education. They also kept her locked in at home, not allowing her to step out of the house.
That is where the teen girls of the New Delhi church stepped in. They reached out to Mamta, visited her consistently, and gave her the courage to come out to attend church meetings. Mamta started studying the Bible. It was tough. Girls are not encouraged to disobey their parents in this culture. Mamta’s faith grew strong though and this month she made the decision to get baptized. Even though her family were not happy they relented when she saw her determination

we witnessed 4 miracles, as 3 new brothers and 1 new sister were baptized into Christ in the Atlantic Ocean after church!
Please pray for our new brothers and sisters in Christ. Please continue to pray for the Casco Bay church as we still have 10-15 ongoing studies with many numbers of those interested in coming out to church. Pray that we can take care of our young Christians, and please pray for mature disciples to move up to help us take care of these baby Christians as I believe God wants to bring in a great harvest of souls in Maine.

& Those who have fallen asleep in the Lord
1Thes 413 Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. 14We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
Boston MA David Silinsh January 5, 1966 – July 7, 2010
David was born with Asperger’s Syndrome. Doctor’s believed the disease would limit his ability to form deep, meaningful relationships, and that he would never be able to reciprocate either emotionally or socially. But any of us who knew David saw how the power of God and the love of family (both physical and spiritual) impacted his life. David’s spiritually shined bright, regardless of his limitations. His desire to learn and grow challenged anyone who spent time with him. His heart of tenderness and humility was evident to those close to him. He did not blame God for his circumstances but praised God in them. His goal was to make it to heaven.

On 9/8 having surgery…(It is a complicated surgery and could affect facial nerves, eyes, balance etc)
Please pray that I will go through surgery only once and that he will be able to completely remove the tumor so that I will not need radiation later, and also pray that the tumor does not grow back in
the future.
Also, starting today until the surgery day, I will not be able to take any anti-inflammatory medications. If you could pray that I don’t have bad headaches, migraines, or any other unbearable symptoms until then.
Please pray for me to be at peace, especially at night when I lay down in bed for my mind can run all night long and keeps me restless, that He may calm my worries, that my faith will increase each day, and for my loving husband Jonathan and our dear son Henry be taken care of during this time. Please pray for a speedy recovery.

“The fellowship that I have enjoyed has built me up. It has strengthened me for the journey that I face. It actually has taken my eyes off of my own struggle and given me vision for you. This fellowship has renewed my concern for my friends, who I can give to and express my love for and pray for, bearing your burdens as you bear mine.”
