We would like to tell you about our campus brothers worship band called “Michael’s Sons”. It started 2 years ago ago when all the guys were still in teen’s ministy. Our brother Michael Martynchuk, a father of three teenagers, wanted to help his olderst son to fulfill the dream – to play drums in a worship band. They started to practice with him and his firends every week… And the time has come when they were ready to do up on stage to lead the whole Kiev Church in worship.
There are 5 of them: Sasha Martynchuk (drums), Dan Gorbach (Guitar), Vanya Korytnik (base), Max Yakovlev (Keyboard – he is serving in the army force now – you will not see him in the video) and Alek Zolotariov (vocal). You will also see the father on stage as well. The brothers chose the name for their band so it would reflect their gratitulte to the one who was their to help them to use their talets for God. And yes, Michael who is now one of those geting trained to become an elder in the future is treating the boys like his sons in the faith and in the ministry.
We are glad to share with all of you the encouragement they bring to us here in Ukraine. 4 of 5 kids grew up in the church and 1 was converted in his teen years by the example of his uncle – the faithful disciple.
