On January 14, 2012, in Nashville, Tennesee Ron Goodwin was awarded the 2012 Community Concern Award at the Annual Stellar Awards. The award was for Radio Announcers for their service to the community. This was the second year in a row Ronald BIGCITY Goodwin was nominated but this year he actually WON the award.
Its been the heart of BIGCITY to give back to his community and that’s what he has done; from starting a basketball league to coaching football in both high school and community leagues. To give back is a must and something BIGCITY says he will do regardless of the award. It’s about pleasing God and doing his will.
God has done some amazing things due to the heart of Ronald BIGCITY Goodwin . Well, before his days at HOPE worldwide Big made it his duty to serve the youth of today, from traveling to share his gift all across the country from Seattle to Reno, Phoenix,Dallas, Kansas Ctiy, St. Louis, Chicago, Spokane, DC, Philly, Boston, Columbia SC, Columbus Ohio, Virginia Beach, Atlanta, Orlando, West 
Palm Beach, and Baltimore just to get an idea of the magnitude of what God has done and has continued to do through Big.
Born in the rough city of North Philadelphia BIG is no stranger to hurt and pain which is all detailed in his book “I SURVIVED THE PRIDE” wich can be purchased by going to www.hollismedia.net. Baptized in the Groton, CT church Wed April 30th at the Western Hotel 9:21pm with his wife, Roberta, being baptized the same night. Now living in Greenville, SC, Big’s heart is to now bring what God has given him to the state of South Carolina.
