The Opening of the Village of HOPE worldwide in Haiti

Imagine living with your family with all your possessions beneath an open tarp… then add tropical rains… and all those mosquitoes. Then imagine living in this situation for 24 months. Think of all the storms, lightning, wind and rain. Hot and sleepless nights and only buckets for showers. Just think of swatting at bugs while living in dirt every day for 2 years.
Now, imagine you are able to move into a small house with a bedroom, dining room, a kitchen, and a bathroom; complete with furniture – beds, tables and chairs. Thanks to our partners and donors this is a dream come true for those who lived beneath tarps and tents.
