The entire South Florida Church of Christ and disciples around the world grieve along with the families of those who lost loved ones and those who are injured in the tragic school shooting in Broward County, Florida. No one in the Broward Church was directly affected, but several had friends who have children at the school. I am trying to find out more information if anyone more closely affected. My wife Pat has reached out to the people at the school board to offer any help needed during this time. She made it clear that this is an offer for the long run and not just for the immediate needs. They responded with a thank you, but are figuring out needs themselves. We are also having a few people in the church who have been professionally trained for trauma and grief counseling form groups for students and then for families.
