Dear Denver Family,
On behalf of the Asia Pacific churches, I would like to thank you for your generosity during the past year. We are all so humbled and grateful for not only what you gave, but also how you gave. You went beyond what you usually give because you cared about your family. We will never forget what you did and how you did it. This extra effort is making an eternal impact.
When you heard that the Cambodian churches needed financial assistance last year, you gave. The disciples thank God because of you. It is amazing to see God revive the churches. So far 21 people have been baptized, and we are praying to see over 100 people study the Bible this summer.
When you heard about the disaster in Myanmar, you gave. We were all concerned when we could not find all 75 disciples the first week. Two weeks later, at their first Sunday service after the disaster, all of our brothers and sisters along with 45 of their friends came to church. The disciples are now helping many rebuild their lives and homes.
When you heard that the Philippines needed help, you gave. The 19 churches are dreaming of ways to impact 80 Million people. Your belief in what the disciples can do for God is a great inspiration. When you heard that the Vietnam churches are dreaming to spread the gospel, you gave. They are preparing to plant the church in Hanoi next year. When they asked the churches who would can go and plant Hanoi, 45 people signed up and said, “Here Am I Send Me.”
When you heard that Thailand needed missionaries, you supported the Chau family to go and serve the past two years. Not only did they help the Bangkok church, but they provided so much encouragement to the churches in Asia. Ken was able to enter Myanmar at a time when the government was issuing no visas in order to control outside influence. God opened the door for him to provide leadership and comfort for the local minister and the church. Sending the Heese family for two months provided strength and encouragement to many as well.
When you heard that the leaders in Asia needed help flying to conferences and discipleship groups you gave. This has helped the leadership stay encouraged and inspired to give more to build the churches.
In the past year you gave a lot, and we will never forget the impact you made on us. This eternal impact inspires us to do more and save more. We are very grateful for your Elders/ Evangelists in their leadership, the board for their guidance, and especially to the all the brothers and sisters of the Denver Church for going beyond what you usually do.
The day will come when we are all fellowshipping in heaven and someone will tap you on the shoulder and say, “Were you part of the Denver Church on earth?” Then they will look you in the eyes and with tears of joy say, “Thank you for what you sacrificed on earth. I’m here today because you helped me, my friends and family.” Denver, let us continue together to bring more to the great celebration that is waiting for us all.
