Coinciding with Scotland’s biggest ever peaceful Clan Gathering in history on the 25th & 26th of July 2009, the Edinburgh International Church of Christ, www.icoc.org.uk/edinburgh, would like to give an open invitation to disciples around the world to join us for an historic church service. We are hoping that disciples from far-flung countries will retrace their Scottish roots and take advantage of this opportunity to bring their relatives who still live in Scotland to our Church; hopefully planting a seed that will help them enter the Kingdom sometime in the future. Of course, we are hoping that anybody with an affinity towards the Scottish ideals of courage, romance, adventure, innovation and hospitality will also join us.
Furthermore, we are also contacting every disciple, who has either moved away from Edinburgh to another church or has fallen away, to rejoin us for this very special event.
Our keynote speaker Grant MacDonald, was one of the founding members of the Edinburgh International Church of Christ in 1993 is a graduate of Edinburgh University and an experienced speaker.
Grant will be travelling from France with his wife Anne & daughter Mairi.
He will be speaking on Jesus’ call for each of us to be part of ‘His Story’ and how Jesus has influenced men around the world, such as Alexander Campbell who once lived in Scotland, to restore his New Testament Church.
