New Orleans Hires Campus Ministry Couple

The city of New Orleans is making a comeback, physically and spiritually. The New Orleans church announces the hiring of a new ministry couple.

The New Orleans Church is excited to announce the hiring of Stephen and Kristen Van Bueren to lead our Campus Ministry in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Along with their infant daughter, Ella, Stephen and Kristen will begin leading the ministries primarily at Louisiana State University and Southern University starting in June 2009. LSU is the largest university in the state and Southern is the largest HBCU. Both schools are very influential and are critical to evangelizing this amazing state.

Stephen and Kristen have led teen and campus ministries in Atlanta and Philadelphia respectively. Their faith, experience and love for people will be valuable as they begin ministries that are so critical to Louisiana. Currently there are only two students on these two campuses.
