Recently at the ILC, sisters from every corner of the planet gave speeches,
taught workshops and classes, and shared good news. They covered areas such as health, ageing, balancing life and mission, staying strong through
trials, deepening our relationship with God, etc.

Many great women of faith were teaching at the ILC. Barri Lusk started Women’s Program with title lesson greeting all the participators on behalf of Denver Church of Christ.
Barri was baptized into Christ in 1983. In 1985 she married John Lusk and they have been serving God’s Church together ever since. In 90s the Lusks were missionaries in Bangkok (Thailand) and Manila (Philippines). In 1998 John, Barri and their 2 daughters moved back to US. Currently, John and Barri serve as the Senior Minister and Women’s Ministry Leader of the Denver Church of Christ.

Laugh At The Days To Come – Multiple Speakers: Gloria Baird, Deb Wright, Bola Sowoolu, Pat Tynes – Workshop on aging gracefully, with a spiritual and joyful attitude in spite of the many challenges life presents (health and other personal challenges)
Practical Ministry – Multiple Speakers: Jeanie Shaw, Deb Cook, Emma Causey, Beth Pocta, Kay McKean – Workshop on finding creative ways to keep the ministry fresh, inspiring, and effective.
Trials to Triumph. Finishing Work – Trials to Triumph: Linda Brumley, Rolayo Ogbonnaya. Linda and Rolayo spoke on overcoming very challenging times in their lives with faith and courage. They shared how we can come out of a difficult time stronger than we were before. Finishing Work: Nadine Templer. Nadine spoke on finishing strong, not giving up, and really making your life count, full time or not.
