This summer the Eastern European Churches gathered for a great conference to be united and to grow spiritually together. We chose a location at the Hungarian countryside, Vajta that was the ideal place for our conference.
The theme of the Conference was The Heart of Jesus. We’ve had over 200 disciples gather from about 9-10 churches. We had great speakers including Shawn & Lena Wooten, Randy McKean and Kent & Heather McKean. The feedback from the disciples was overwhelming gratitude (most of the churches in this region are under 50 disciples) and increased faith. This year the Hungarian State Television started a program highlighting small churches, called “Colorful Religion”. For the last six months they’ve included me in the program three times. Usually they wanted me to speak on a certain topic in two-three minutes (hopelessness, judging, etc.) but this last time they wanted to highlight something that our church does and that would be unique and excited to know about us. So I decided to talk about our Missions Conference.
You never know who watches a TV program – but when a disciple in New Jersey e-mailed me that her Mom who lives at the countryside in Hungary and has visited our church before called her to tell her that she’s watching our church on TV – you know that there is an impact. We are grateful for the opportunity.
