One of our churches in mainland China had a very special way to celebrate on Christmas Eve.
Some disciples in one of their ministry groups went out to the main streets, inviting some friends with them who love singing songs. They sang international Christmas songs, especially for children.
It’s not the first time they have had interaction with people in public. It was so exciting because one hand they celebrated a special day of remembering Christ’s birth – giving thanks to our heavenly Father. And on the other hand their friends were really enjoyed being together with the Xiamen disciples. And to see the good news on the front page of their main local newspaper was encouraging! God is molding hearts and cultures of the world.
They sang; Silent Night, Joy to the world, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, The First Noel, Angels we have heard on high, and other worldwide favorites.
