HOPE worldwide CEO Randy Jordan spent his MLK Day 2010 with the HOPE worldwide Southern California Chapter in Los Angeles painting school buildings, distributing 15,000 Red Cross fire safety door hangers throughout six counties and much more.
While in Los Angeles, Jordan shared with volunteers and partners about Dr. Mark Ottenweller’s arrival in Haiti and the deteriorating conditions there.
Brian Craig, evangelist and musician in the South Bay Church of the Los Angeles Church of Christ, was moved by the MLK Day of Service and tragedy in Haiti to share a song he wrote entitled “People Helping People.”
The song is dedicated to “HOPE worldwide and all who give their ‘time and heart away’ in helping others.”“
