Early last year, I really wanted to repent of my lack of evangelism and so I decided to go out and share my faith in my local area for the first time in many years…
I rang my friend Julie, who was very keen to join me & we both headed out together to my local high street. One of the last people we invited was a young Polish woman called Ewelina who had a very positive response and lived just a few streets away from my house. However due to work commitments it was several weeks before she was able to come to church. We started studying the Bible together and it was obvious that Ewelina was very open and responsive to the gospel. It was wonderful building a friendship together and getting to know her husband and family and finally seeing Ewelina get baptised on 22nd November 2009. It has been a very clear reminder to Julie and myself that there are many open people around us. We just need to speak to them and God will do the rest.
