No matter how far you have drifted form God or how guilty or hopeless you feel, God can still work in your life. Arianna Rossetti was restored in December 2009 after having been gone from the church for more than seven years.
During that time she had finished her law degree and went on to work for a firm. She then open her own firm. She had become a successful lawyer but her heart remained empty and depressed. She knew God was the only solution to her deep sorrow and depression.
On the morning of her spiritual birthday, she decided she would visit the Milan church where she had previously been baptized. As she began to reconnect with her brothers and sisters in fellowship, her heart slowly began to soften. The Word began to work on her heart and she decided she was ready to get back into the Bible and find her way back home.
After a couple of months through the restoration studies Arianna found her way back and was restored to God and His Church! In the meantime, Arianna had been bringing her friend Raquel to church. Raquel began studying the Bible before Arianna was restored. A couple of months after Arianna’s restoration Raquel was baptized. Raquel (left) with Arianna (right)
Before Raquel was baptized Arianna brought her brother Luca to church. Luca began studying the Bible before Raquel was baptized. Now, Luca is ready to be baptized! What will God do next? He has used Arianna in such a powerful way and continues to do so.
The moral of the story is this: no matter how far you have drifted form God or how guilty or hopeless you feel, God can still work in your life. It’s never to late to turn back to Him and his church. Not only is he capable of taking you back but he is also capable of still helping so many others through your return.
