The Orlando Church of Christ is presently seeking a Lead Evangelist (and a wife who can lead the women’s ministry). We are located in one of the premier recreational areas of America as well as one of the most ideal climates you’ll find in the country. The metropolitan area has a population of over 2,000,000. If you like sunshine and an opportunity to lead a dynamic work this may be the place for you.
The congregation consists of approximately 550 members divided into three regions. We have a very active campus ministry to the University Central Florida, the 3rd largest campus in America. We have five full-time men plus four full-time and two half-time women as ministry staff. The church is one of the most impactful churches in the Southeast. We have three elders (and are in the process of adding more), one full time, one recently retired, and one while working a full time job is highly active in the eldership. They are great partners in the Gospel. Our mission focus is the southern cone of South America. Our congregation is diverse, cutting across just about every demographic you can imagine. This is a church on the brink of explosive growth and impact.
We are looking for a man who is full of wisdom and the Holy Spirit, strong in pulpit and leadership skills, and committed to do the work of an evangelist as he leads the church and the staff.
