The Port of Spain Church of Christ, located in the islands of Trinidad and Tobago in the southern Caribbean, is looking for a couple to fill the position of Evangelist and Women’s Ministry Leader.
Trinidad and Tobago is a twin island nation located at the end of the chain of Caribbean islands, just off the coast of Venezuela. The country is oil rich and cosmopolitan in nature, and this multiculturalism is what makes Trinidad and Tobago unique.
The Port of Spain Church of Christ is a 20 year old church that is a microcosm of Trinidad and Tobago and the church culture is a true reflection of the country. We are a warm vibrant church that is known throughout the Caribbean for our welcoming personalities and hospitable warmth. We enjoy organizing fun events for God’s kingdom to bring in the lost. There are over 200 disciples broken into Singles, Married and Teen ministries.
The couple can expect a compensation package which will include consideration for transportation and housing. In addition to an attractive compensation package the couple can expect support for a group of mature deacons and a Board who will be eager to put time and energy to ensure that the couple succeeds.
The Evangelist and Women’s Ministry Leader will be expected to lead the Port of Spain Church of Christ Church and will be directly responsible for the spiritual direction and development of the church.
These duties of this position which are listed below include the following but are not limited to:
- Overseeing of the preaching, teaching, counseling and organizing of events to facilitate the spiritual development of the church
- Leading and training other Evangelists, as well as partnering with Deacons and Elders in the Church to develop and grow the church
- Training of Ministry staff
- Catering to the spiritual needs of the members of the church: spiritual growth, evangelistic, training, counseling, including visiting the sick and bereaved, and performing weddings and funerals as necessary
- Working with Church Board to ensure financial solvency of the Church
