The San Diego Church of Christ held its teen camp this summer at the University of San Diego and over 170 were in attendence!
This years camp was themed the “REBELution” in which the teens were challenged to “Do Hard Things.” This challenge comes from the popular book by the same title written by Harris brothers. The teens spent the week performing community service by serving the poor, reaching out to the homeless, visiting a nursing home, visiting a veterans home and cleaning up San Diego. The hearts of the teens were inspired and convicted by many lessons, worship, service, and fellowship. The Rebelution theme was used to help them think about rebelling against low expectations and the standards that the world says a teen should be. The kids were challenged rise up and live out what is said in 1 Timonty 4:12 “Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but in everything set before the believers an example…” Please continure praying for us so that each teenager in San Diego can be apart of something amazing, and help the REBELUTION spread!
