The Indianapolis Church of Christ is currently looking and praying for a full-time campus intern. The Indianapolis Church is comprised of approximately 300 members, of whom 28 are campus students.
The church in Indianapolis has a great worship ministry, is involved in helping the community and believes in strong one-another relationships. Indianapolis is a city with a “small-town-atmosphere,” and has a wonderful downtown area where singles and families gather along the river walk.
There are several small campuses in Indianapolis (Butler, University of Indianapolis, Marion College, Heron School of Art, Indiana University Purdue University of Indianapolis), as well as two Big Ten schools within one hour drive, Indiana University in Bloomington and Purdue University in West Lafayette. There are 150,000 students within an hour drive of Indy.We urge any brother that has the zeal, faith and work ethic to build our campus ministry at Indiana University to apply. We need someone committed to evangelism and able to lead Bible talks and Bible studies on campus. We want to bring the gospel to the campuses and need someone who has a close walk with our Lord. The intern will work with campus students, full-time church/campus staff and lay leaders to minister to the needs of the campus ministry. The campus minister will be fully trained, mentored, and supported by the evangelist to teach, preach, and build a campus that glorifies God.
Requirements:
Strong walk with God (Man of Prayer and of the Word)
Zealous for God and passionate about saving the lost
Able to work independently and carry out responsibilities on a daily basis
Strong work ethic, proven leadership skills and respected by peers
Humble and able to learn from others
Strong interpersonal skills
Someone desiring to learn different aspects of ministry

Desired (But not necessarily required):
• College degree
• 1-2 years ministry experience (or equivalent as a Bible Talk leader, etc.)
• 1-2 years ministry experience (or equivalent as a Bible Talk leader, etc.)
Married applicants are also welcomed, but the size of our congregation allows for only 1 paid position to be added at this time.
