The Greater Albuquerque Church of Christ is seeking an Evangelist and Women’s Ministry Leader to lead and inspire the church into its next great chapter.
The Church
Planted in 1991, the Greater Albuquerque Church of Christ has enjoyed a rich history of building great families and raising up great leaders.
The membership of the church now stands at 125 and is mixture of
married couples, young families, singles, campus, and teens, all at different stages of growth in their walk with Christ. The church leadership enjoys great unity and partnership in the gospel with the Rocky Mountain Family of Churches as well as being a part of the larger Southwest Family of Churches. The current evangelist is moving to serve the Chicago Church after leading and serving the Church in Albuquerque faithfully for the last 14 years.
The City
The city of Albuquerque is the geographical center of New Mexico, known throughout the nation as “The Land of Enchantment.” With an elevation of 5,312 feet, it is the highest metropolitan city in America and has a growing
population of approximately 800,000 in the metropolitan area. The state is
multi-cultural with strong Native American and Hispanic history dating back to ancient times. The state geography encompasses mountains, high and low deserts, vast national forests and river valleys. With only 5 people per square mile, New Mexico offers wide open spaces and recreation includes skiing, rock climbing, river rafting, hiking, fishing and hunting.
As an added benefit, New Mexico is also one of the few states in our nation that grants qualifying resident graduating high school students free tuition to any of the statewide colleges and universities, thanks to the New Mexico Lottery Scholarship.

This position would be ideal for an experienced campus ministry couple who wants to expand their sphere of influence to an entire church or a trained couple looking to return to the full-time ministry. The right couple will have an outstanding opportunity to grow, encourage and strengthen the various ministries that make up this dynamic church while leading and supporting a strong, experienced leadership team.
