What a day for our church in Tampa! 
! We blew out our goal of $52,000 by giving $61,000 to world missions earlier this month! But what made it even more special was that we had a joint Skype worship service with our sister church in La Paz, Bolivia!
We sang songs to them and they sang songs to us. Their church leaders, Edson and Teresa Aquino, led us in a very moving and personal Lord’s Supper. Then, we preached a powerful lesson from Isaiah 6 on having the spirit of Isaiah when he cried out, “Here am I, send me!”
It was a jubilant atmosphere reminiscent of when King David took up a collection for the Temple building project in 1 Chronicles 29 – the people gave willingly and with joyful hearts! The singing was electric, and there were even moments of tears as we experienced the joy of worshiping with our brothers and sisters half way around the world in Bolivia!
Special thanks to the Florida Missions Council who responsibly administer these funds with wisdom and integrity. Thank you also to John Reus, Martin Bentley and John Porter who shepherd our South American churches.
And the biggest thanks and honor to our Holy God, who sits enthroned in heaven, with burning Seraphim attending him, and who moves the hearts of men and women to serve him wholeheartedly! To God be the glory!
