The Boston Church of Christ leadership is renewing its commitment to quality teaching in our congregation. A recent taskforce on teaching, comprised of elders, evangelists and teachers, proposed a vision statement for our church: “We believe that in-depth, comprehensive and quality teaching is essential for building and maturing the church and should be provided in every ministry setting for the purpose of Biblically grounding and strengthening the disciples of Jesus.”
Attached is a paper that reflects the biblical foundation and the thought background for the conclusions of the taskforce. All members of the congregation are strongly urged to read and consider this paper in its entirety and the qualifications for teachers.
