Our Church
The Greater Las Vegas Church includes over 200 in the family, which includes a very large Children’s Ministry and passionate and growing Teen Ministry. We are a family that is very diverse in race, age, and culture, but deeply devoted to one another with Christ and His love as our example. Our heart is to equip disciples of Christ who make disciples of Christ.
Our core leadership team is comprised of one full-time Lead Evangelist, one part-time Women’s Ministry Leader, one full time Campus Intern, and one part-time Church Administrator, a supportive Core Group and Board of Directors.
Youth and Family – Teen Ministry Leaders
We are looking for Youth and Family – Teen Ministry Leaders (a man and a woman) willing to fight for each and every child and to raise up a generation who will one day, wholeheartedly carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ into the future. You need a passion and a love for Christ and the youth of this generation.
The Youth and Family – Teen Ministry Leaders work directly with the teen ministry, (9th – 12th grade), their mentors, and their parents to plan, organize, and implement a Christ-centered youth program. The goal of this program is to help the teens to know God, promote spiritual growth, and to see this generation won to Christ.
Qualifications
· Passion for God that is growing and worthy of imitation.
· Humility to constantly grow and mature in your faith and relationships.
· Humility to work with leadership staff and family leaders.
· Ability to build rapport and work with a diverse group of teens and parent.
· Devotion to training and inspiring disciples to use their gifts to advance God’s kingdom and church.
· Ability to effectively teach and preach God’s Word to teens and adults.
· Respect for those older than yourself and the proven ability to work with parents.
· A proven track record in helping a church or ministry grow in maturity and numerically.
Ministry Philosophy and Strengths· Devoted to spiritual growth through discipleship with Ministry staff and all members of the ministry.
· A determined adherence to the Word of God and a devotion to inspiring the family of God to live out His standard.
· Devoted to unity with GLVC family and the International Churches of Christ and the Southwest churches, in particular.
· A desire to build God’s church locally and worldwide.
· A passion to help the poor and needy within and outside of your social class.
· A passion to inspire and grow the faith of God’s people.

Our city also represents a growing Latino and Asian community and is home to a myriad of rich and diverse cultures, races, and languages from all over the world. It is our hope that the Greater Las Vegas Church will become a light for the entire world.
