· Regional Co-Operation – The Vision for uniting member and other churches, in addition to assisting in greater cooperation and participation, i.e., conferences, workshops, schools of ministry, etc.

 

– We have started a Disciple Bible Academy to deepen the Bible Knowledge of all the disciples in Southern Africa

– We have a yearly leadership conference for all the churches in Southern Africa

 

 

· Church Plantings – The Vision for church plantings during the next decade.

We currently have ICOC churches located all around the world, yet there are many areas of the world where the gospel of Christ needs to be preached.

 

– Our long term vision is to have a Bible Talk within walking distance of every African

– We envision planting churches in all the major cities in Southern Africa by 2030

– We want to send full time ministry people into the 12 churches in Southern Africa currently without ministry staff and plant four new churches by 2020

 

· Membership / Growth – The Vision for church growth in your specific Region.

 

– We envision growing by over 1000 disciples by 2020

 

· Campus Ministry – The Vision for beginning new and growing campus ministries within our Regions, and the dream to train up new leaders from our Campus Ministry. To appoint evangelists from the trained Campus Leaders.

 

– We envision thriving Campus Ministries across Southern Africa and having 4 campuses with over 100 disciples

 

· Married and Family Ministry – The Vision to build exemplary married and family ministries within our churches that equip our members to help transform the families in their communities as well as raise our children to be the next generation of disciples. This could include the vision of having 2^nd Generation Kingdom Kids serve in the full time ministry, lead ministries and churches, and possibly new mission plantings by 2020.

 

 

· Women’s Ministry – The Vision to have powerful women’s ministries within our churches. To also raise the profile of the women’s role and influence.

 

 

 

 

· Single’s Ministry – The Vision to God bring incredible growth to our churches as we learn to attract, retain and equip the millions of single adults in our communities.

 

 

 

· HOPE Worldwide – The vision to support the international charity founded in 1991 by churches now known as the International Churches of Christ.

 

– We have active HOPE programs in 5 Southern African countries and we envision having them in every country

– We have the highest HiV prevalence rate in the world

 

 

· Elders & Leadership Development – The Vision to train and appoint additional Elders and Deacons in our Regions. To provide training programs for full time staff development and schools of ministry. Many of our Churches around the world need spiritual, mature, and tested brothers to serve in the roles.

 

– With our renewed focus on Youth & Family Ministry we see Elders being appointed in all of our major churches.
