The Kannur district is one of the 14 districts in the state of Kerala. Kannur has an urban population of 1.2 Million which is the second largest in Kerala after the Ernakulam district. From ICOC Hotnews.com
Kannur is known as the land of looms because of the textile indistries there. It is also said that the ships of Solomon had anchored along the coasts of Kannur to collect timber for building the Temple of the Lord.
In April 2012, the Trivandrum Church is sending a mission team to Kannur. Kannur will be the 11th district in Kerala to have our movement.
