Here is the story of her 12 year album project “The Longest Journey”
I have been a disciple for 22 years and am married to an awesome disciple (Mark), and we have 2 great kids. I have been singing professionally in Chicago & internationally for over a decade, but decided to take all the songs I wrote to scripture and my prayers that were songs (literally from my kitchen table after I finished my Quiet times) and record them. It took me 12 years from start to finish to put out my first CD, which is why it’s called “The Longest Journey” >>>. GOD has literally blown me away every day, and each week it has been out.
Earlier this year, in Germany, I released my CD at a large Christian conference that I was hired to sing at. The next day a DJ from London heard it and spread it like wildfire over the online radio stations & satelite stations around the UK. And it sold well in Europe.
Six weeks ago it made the UK SOUL CHARTS and started at #27. This week I was informed that I am #1 on the UK SOUL CHARTS >>> and this blows me away. I am so thankful to be on several secular charts, to be able to freely share my faith to a large audience, who many may not even know GOD. I have done many interviews live in London lately, and they (THE DJ’s) are literally helping me share my faith.
GOD has done mighty things in a short time, for this wife & mother.
