The Greater Baltimore Church of Christ is drawing near to God and each other after the senseless shooting of Brenda Brewington. On May 3, Brenda was at her secretary job at a local church in a quiet neighborhood when a homeless man entered and shot and killed Brenda
A female co-worker was severely wounded as well and the homeless man then shot and killed himself. One of Brenda’s responsibilities had been to help the area needy and homeless from the church’s community food pantry.
Brenda, her husband Will, and sons Chris (22) and Tyler (20) were all baptized in the GBCOC. They are loved and appreciated by 100’s not only in the church, but in the community where they have lived and been active for over twenty years. Please keep them in your prayers. We know that God is always good, even when very bad things happen. We pray that God’s name can be glorified and that many will feel God’s love through the disciples at this time.
