The house church in Reynosa, Mexico, is a ministry of the Church in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas.
On Saturday July 28th, we celebrated our 3rd anniversary. We had an incredible time, as my wife Sandra and I have been sharing with the group part of the things we learned at the WDS, nothing seemed more appropriate than to have our own Steve Brown, deliver the same Spanish message he gave at the summit.
All present enjoyed the fellowship, praying, singing, and learned a lot from Steve’s message, we even learned a new song!
Personally all of this humbled me, and made me eager to do more for God, and thankful for all the love we have received from Steve and my dear friend Matt Brown.
As a reminder of the dangers of this border city, while driving Steve back to the crossing point into the United States, we had to maneuver away from a main street blockade.
Still Steve was happy as the church in gratitude presented him with the official 2012 Olympic Games Mexican soccer team jersey.
Please pray for us as we have committed ourselves for the glory of God to see this house church grow up to 29 disciples by July 2014, (currently we are 6 disciples).
