What an amazing week in May at MIT (Ministry in Training) down in Austin, Texas at the University of Texas. Thanks to the generosity of a couple in the Dallas Forth Worth Church, 165 disciples from all over Texas, Oklahoma and even Mexico came together for a week of training and vision setting for the future of the Kingdom.
Singles and campus students alike came together to learn about drawing closer to God, radical evangelism, ministers’ character and so on. There was much training and much to chew on and apply in our respective ministries! Speakers like Mike Taliaferro and Todd Asaad set the pace for future leaders and gave insight into the life of an evangelist and what to expect as we work hard for the Lord. I appreciated hearing the faith of my fellow singles as they ministered to their families and friends, and hearing how the Kingdom is growing in all parts of Texas and Oklahoma.
I feel much more hopeful and confident about the life and health of our future churches because I see brothers and sisters raising up and learning what they can so they can see future generations become disciples and stay faithful to the end. We serve an amazing God, with amazing plans for our future and His Kingdom. God has great plans for us singles. Now, it all depends on you and how we you will respond to his calling in your life. How will you serve in his Kingdom? To God be the glory!
