Dear Brothers and Sisters,
May God bless and fill you with his Holy Spirit so that his work on earth can come to completion and many can come to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We would like you to know a little bit about us so that you can keep us in your prayers. We are a small church that has seen many Bible studies however few decisions to follow Christ. In addition, not all who entered the water of baptism has remained faithful. The parable of the sower is made evident in our lives as Satan uses various means to keep our hearts from obeying the word of God. For this reason, we are reminded to guard our hearts from following our feelings, opinions and put our trust in God’s providence.
Our country is characterized by idolatry, sexual immorality, impurity, the love of money, corruption, and stealing. Our work in Christ is made difficult because very few want to know Jesus Christ and change their lives. However, the church is called to not be silent and to proclaim the good news.
To the glory of God, we have seen God work powerfully to bring people seeking him to the church. God has open doors in two provinces (Pinar del Rio and La Habana) for people to have opportunities to know him.
As a church, we have the responsibility to love people as Jesus loves them and this love begins with the family of God, a great testimony of our faith in Him. Brothers and sisters, let us love one another and carry each other’s burdens irregardless of where we are in the world and seek ways to grow, be unified and mature spiritually.
Jesus said: “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” — John 13:34-35
May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.
