As we seek to meet the emotional needs of our children, we must be aware of the different “fathers” in their lives.
Father of the Past: Our Children’s Physical Father
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” — Psalm 139:13
Our children are a mix between their mom and dad (not just their mom). So what should our attitude be toward our children’s father—what should we be teaching our children concerning their dad? As godly moms, we are obligated to teach our children to honor and respect their fathers (yes, honor and respect).
