It’s great to be in Baltimore! As we close what what can only be described as a year of tumult and upheaval, disciples remain determined to shine Christ’s light on every corner and crevice of this great city.
On November 22, the Baltimore Church of Christ, under the direction of Wayne and Cherie Jenkins and the Mature Women’s Ministry packaged and delivered 252 Thanksgiving dinner baskets to families across the region encountering hard times.
The Jenkins have been leading the church in this program for years partnering with many charities including: Hope Baltimore, INNterim Housing, Mount Washington Pediatrics Hospital, Family Connections, Park Elementary School and the list goes on. Wayne said, “This year we collected the most baskets ever, 252, which blows away our previous high of 167.”
We’re thankful for all who’ve been in prayer for the church here and would kindly ask for your continued intercession. It truly is great to be in Baltimore where God is and continues to be glorified.
