South Florida to Host Regional Youth Ministry Conference

Come church leaders! Come elders & shepherds! Come parents! Come mentors! Come youth ministers & youth workers! Similar to the youth ministry conference in Boston last April, this seminar will NOT be for the teens but for all adults interested in youth ministry.

We look forward to seeing many of you March 28-29 in Ft. Lauderdale for the first Florida Regional Conference of Youth Ministry (FRCYM). We are very excited about this incredible time together as we dream about the next generation of the church. The goal of the FRCYM is to receive the training we need to inspire and equip both the physical and spiritual families in our churches to make strong, faithful teen disciples.

We have confirmed Adrian Hill and Dave Pocta as the two keynote speakers for the seminar. Adrian Hill works full time in the ministry in the London Church of Christ. He is the father of 6 children, all disciples, and has tremendous experience. Dave Pocta is the youth minister for the Chicago Church of Christ and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Youth Ministry.

Our program will include a daytime portion on Friday from 1:00-4:00 for full-time youth ministers and any other full-time church staff. Friday evening and all day Saturday will be our general program. The conference will end on Saturday at 5:00 pm. However, you are all welcome to stay and worship with us on Sunday morning (the service will have a youth ministry theme).

The deadline for early registration is Friday, March 14. The cost for registrations received after March 14 will be $50 per person.
