We are excited to invite you to attend the 2010 International Leadership Conference (ILC) in Miami, Florida. Please join us in the Sunshine State with brothers and sisters from all over the world as we rededicate ourselves to The Mission, the theme of this year’s conference to be held September 23-26, 2010.
Last year’s conference in Denver, As I Have Loved You, was a tremendous time of equipping and strengthening our kingdom-wide family of churches in Jesus’ call to love. More than 1,200 participants from 54 countries descended on the southern foothills of the Rocky Mountains to hear powerful messages on unity, mission and doctrine.
While we have made giant strides in our unity, witnessed increased baptisms and planted new churches, there are only about 100,000 members in our fellowship of churches in a world of almost 7 billion people. Jesus gave us the charge to go and make disciples of all nations. This daunting and yet inspiring mission “to seek and save the lost” gives our lives depth and purpose that supersedes life’s greatest challenges. We hope the 2010 ILC in Miami will reinvigorate the mission in our hearts and in our churches.
Miami is an international city of 2.5 million residents with a cultural diversity that makes anyone feel at home. You will be welcomed by sunny blue skies, tropical breezes, swaying palm trees and the warmth of the South Florida Church, host of this year’s leadership conference.
Registration, main sessions, classes, kid’s program and Sunday worship will be held at the downtown Hyatt Regency Miami and James L. Knight Convention Center, where we have negotiated a discounted rate for hotel rooms for ILC participants. The group rate is offered from September 23-26, as well as three days before and after the conference on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline to reserve a room at the discounted rate is August 22, 2010. All disciples concerned about the Mission are urged to attend the 2010 ILC.
