Over the last few years, my family and I have had the opportunity to visit a number of our churches around the world. We have frequently been asked for reference materials and resources. Many disciples are looking for lessons, Bible studies, ideas, and other Biblical helps. We have also had many disciples ask us about their brothers and sisters in other congregations. Over the last year, Beth and I have been working on a solution to meet these requests.
We have been creating shareable Bible studies, articles on family and ministry, and blogging about some of our experiences in sister churches.
We are excited to announce our new website, www.GetGroundedForLife.com. We hope you find it helpful! This is our beginning attempt to meet needs. We are continuing to write and produce more resources. We are trying to launch new material each week. There is a column on the right side of the site that highlights what new items have been added.
We have also released five resource booklets.
1) Making Disciples – a two year Bible study rewrite that we have worked on in southern Africa of our conversion Bible studies.
2) Studying the Bible with Teenagers – a manual to assist in making disciples of teenagers.
3) Life in The Kingdom – eight Bible studies for discipling times or a young Christian class to teach important principles to live in God’s kingdom.
4) Ambassadors to the World – a brief introduction to the major world religions and how to share your faith with a muslim, Jew, buddhist, or hindu.
5) What You Should Know About the English Translations of the Bible – addresses the history of the English Bible translations, the King James debate, and textual criticism.
